Both ego and pride assume an abiding self, which, at least for me, is an impossibility. Give up the idea of a self, and both pride and ego are eviscerated. What is left is a seer, with no ax to grind or gain to attain.

Balance has been replaced with flow.

Again, this is just a different view, no better or worse, just different.
