But school administrators are having to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

The First Amendment states clearly, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." What the religious do not understand or seek to ignore is, that it also works that Religion shall enforce no religious conditions upon any government agency, such as a public school, in this instance, either.

The Religious are free of Government, and the Government is free from religion, sounds right to me.
