Cultural appropriation has always been viewed by me as appreciation for that culture, to the extent of wanting some of it involved in one’s life, be it as food, architecture, reading material, or anything else. Other people may not be so mindful, but as Isaac Newton noted: “We stand on the shoulders of giants.”, more people should be so aware, if only U.S. educational schools taught that well.
