Dishes, laundry, grocery shopping are or can be all meditations. Taking care of each dish, load, or food item at a time, with no hurry, drying, folding, or storing each and every item as it should be and where it belongs.
Despite the wetness or heat, the cut of the garment or weight, the remembering where to put things or the weight of the bags, it all goes very smoothly with a sense of both accomplishment and relaxation.
It is a moment of concentration doing the work that needs being done. Thank you for the reminder.
