For me, each person gets to make their own choice. It is not my job to make it for them. When there is a medical case, where death is days to no more than a few weeks away, would stay with someone while they did the deed, but would not hand them the cup, or whatever.

If or when I get to a place, where my autonomy is negliable, then would definitely consider it. Have been there, being tended by nurses, doctors, in hospitals or other settings, is miserable. It is one thing if it is a temporary situation, If it is the beginning of a continual and steady decline I see no reason to waste money on it for me, when someone perhaps healthier can have the bed, and make their own decisions.

This is my view, your may very well differ.
