Have a somewhat different view. The possibility of the mob doing anything on Wednesday last, or any day, is preposterous.

They were little more than the keystone kops.

The action itself was shocking, the possible results of it were laughable. The idea that the armed forces would back the President, that the Judicial system would support him, is beyond reason.

You had a bunch of people, who were egged on by the President, who were like the dog who caught car, and had no idea of what to do. As of this writing, short of some minor vandalism, nothing of note was harmed, that was mere property. The lives that were lost is another matter.

Making this out to be more than it is, still gives Trump the attention he craves, best to let him twist in the wind, ignored, forgotten, while the rest of America prepares, hopefully, for a new administration, and a new day. Do not make the mistake of making him a martyr. Vindictiveness can cause an ugly result.
