Have viewed pagan or heathen religions as being their psychology revealed in their gods and goddesses. It shows how they thought and why, more or less. There are many power centers but no central power that weaves them all together, it is more of a loose association, for me.

Abrahamic religions, at their best, allow one to be part of a unitary universe and or god. There is no separation between the two, granted this is not generally the theme of the religions, but if brought into a slightly different viewpoint, it emerges as easily as a child waking up to the world around them.
