In our modern day use of the word God, is as a noun, meaning it is a person, place or thing. Nouns are acted upon, they do not act upon other things, people, places. God is more correctly thought of as a verb, a state of being, a being that is both male and female, neither male or female, male or female. separately and all at one.
As the creator, and we being in the image thereof, how could we be anything else, but male and female, both, and neither, at one. A lot of modern thought is to put things into categories, so that they can be talked about, forgetting, that some things, especially God, have no category that it is not included in. This mixing and matching confuses people, and allows for doctrinaire ideas, but limits creativity, and love. It is the mistake of form over substance.
