It seems to come down to a phrase found in Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Luke, Mark and Mathew;

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your might. And you shall love your neighbor as you love yourself."

Some religious leaders, I'll call them preachers, it is easier to write, forget or overlook the fact, that at the end of that quote there are no exceptions. No exceptions for if someone is black, homosexual, handicapped, disabled, poor, depressed, or anything else that one might want to add.

There are those who point to Paul and his teachings concerning effeminate men, but going back to Jesus' teaching, which has no exceptions, doesn't it come down to choosing to follow Paul or to follow Jesus.

Jesus said somewhere a man cannot have two masters, better decide which one is your savior and act accordingly.

Your article disected everything and every which way it good go wrong and be righted, mine is just a quick down and dirty version of a reply to those who claim to practice and teach the words of the Prince of Peace.
