Not being Christian, his appearance is immaterial for me. Your remembrance that we are made in God's image, which as have been told, in Hebrew means a mental image, not a physical one. Hence the Commandment against graven images, as the word is different than in Genesis for our creation.

God by it's nature, created males, females, hermaphrodites, transgender individuals(am familiar with some tropical fish that fit that), asexual, sterile, and still other manners of sexual form.

Given that, how could a Messiah be anything but an amalgamation of them all? It is well past time to quit pining for the God we want and start accepting the God that is.
