Somehow, that whole phase passed me by. My youth was spent with a lot of health issues, and proper conduct, other than good manners, was just not in my social thoughts. Moving around a lot, again due to health, made me more aware of what it is to be alive, to be thoughtful, as people are not always still around.

Had my youth been raised in one or two homes, with the same family throughout and healthy, my life and outlook would definitely be different. Perhaps, more like you as a child, the various different influences, taught me many things, but mostly that people were genuinely kind, and should be treated that way regardless.

My youth, prior to decent health at 20, finally, may have given me this viewpoint, but it is a journey that would not recommend as a way to get there. Am glad you found your way, may it continue with health and happiness.
