Suffering is also intrinsically bound up in attachment. Lessen or remove the attachment and suffering slides away, to some degree.

We are born out of a Universe and the energy/mass it created. We remain not separate from it, but ultimately a part of it, bound by both physical and metaphysical laws.

No separate self, separate and apart from anything or anyone else can exist, though a momentary illusion of a self can, so long as it connects itself to being not separate but a part of the Universe/God, that can never be severed from it, though time can transform it endlessly so, as its's consciousness grows. All to be a better fit for what it is ultimately a part of.
