There is no one standing in between you and death. We are each in our own line, while swirling around in this ocean called life.
Some last less than a few days others more than a century.
There will always be those older and younger than you. Living their life within its time frame.
For those who are gone be either glad they were in your life or glad they showed you by dying what your life could be without them.
We begin dying as soon as we are born, for those who chose life, they only really stop living at death. Some have been stopped years earlier, do not confuse existence with living, one is dry and colorless the other vibrant and colorful.
Loss cannot be measured before it is felt.
