What’s in it for me? The satisfaction of helping someone resolve or avoid something, that is not necessary for them. It gives them a view of what might be, not necessarily what will be. Some times it offers a warning, whether they take it or not, is ultimately their decision. The best we can do is present their current path and a reasonably solid idea of what lies further ahead.
What they do with the information is not our responsibility. That is the rub.
