Wow! To be intelligent, a gifted writer, a good teacher, a rarity, and to be face to face with a person’s blind spot, totally unaware of what they were asking, for someone who would teach, open people’s minds, at a university level, would be a deadening experience to me.

The shame was not yours, though you took it upon yourself, but theirs. Am not a Christian and was not brought up in that particular faith, but somewhere Christ is reported to have said, that of all the blessings, beatitudes, or something like that, Charity is the highest, the number one of all. To face a group of people, who proclaim their Christian faith, and ignore Christ’s words, is a tragic spectacle.

The writing was beautiful, heartfelt, and totally engaging, as far from the reception you received at the end as possible. Keep on healing, keep on writing, and let the world see what those who you went before for the job, did not. Or as Pink Floyd might say; Shine on you crazy Diamond.
