Years back, when pay telephones, were said to be ubiquitous, thought about meeting an alien.
What to do?
Run? They could probably stop me before starting. Fear? Useless, if they were dangerous, it was over and done. Which left me with the alternative of trusting their intelligence.
My decision was to go up to them and ask them for a dime for a phone call. If they were intelligent enough to get here, they should know our language and perhaps more.
Foolish, maybe, but given the circumstances, what a potential opportunity.
